After performing their hit song on the NBC singing competition, the former contestants of British 'The X Factor' talk about their upcoming documentary film, 'One Direction: This Is Us'.
One Direction livened up the semi-final results show of "America's Got Talent" on Wednesday, August 28. The five British boys took the stage at New York's Radio City Music Hall to perform their newest smashing hit, "Best Song Ever".
"It's our first time on this show, so it's very exciting," One Direction's Harry Styles told host Nick Cannon before performing the song with his bandmates. The former contestants of U.K.'s "The X Factor" then led the excited crowd to sing and dance to the upbeat track.
After finishing their energetic performance, One Direction shared some details about their documentary film, "One Direction: This Is Us", which will be released in the U.S. on Friday, August 30.
"I think it's a great chance for the fans to see what they want to see of us backstage and to see what happens behind closed doors," Styles said during a chat with Cannon. Zayn Malik then revealed that the film would feature "plenty of topless scenes."
One Direction was not the only performer on that night's "AGT". "The Voice" winner Cassadee Pope also appeared onstage to perform "Wasting All These Tears", the lead single off her debut album "Frame by Frame". The album is scheduled to arrive on October 8.
