AceShowbiz - One Direction's member Zayn Malik reportedly has been engaged to his girlfriend Perrie Edwards. According to Daily Mirror, the 20-year-old singer popped the question over the weekend.
"It was so romantic - Zayn popped the question over the weekend when they were alone together. It's one of the first weekends they've spent with each other, as they've both been on tours with their bands. He wanted to wait for the perfect moment," a source said.
The source added, "All her bandmates were at V Festival, and she couldn't wait to tell them. They're all really excited for her, as the rest of One Direction are for Zayn." The Little Mix member previously sparked speculation that she and Zayn were engaged after wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger during the premiere of "One Direction: This Is Us" in London on Tuesday, August 20.
Perrie proudly put her hand on her hip as she posed for the cameras, giving full view of the sparkler. She barely left Zayn on red carpet and they sat side-by-side during the movie screening. "I'd fly 10 planes to go home and see her. It's difficult to see your girlfriend 24/7, when you do get to see her you really make the most of it," Zayn said in a recent interview.
