J.Lo's dancer boyfriend of two years unwittingly says 'yes' to a question whether she will return to the judging seat on the singing competition.
Jennifer Lopez will be back on "American Idol", according to her beau Casper Smart. The dancer, who has been dating the chart-topping singer for two years now, lets the information slip to E! News during a media promo of his new show "A Step Away" for nuvoTV.
"Yes," Casper says when asked about J.Lo's rumored return as a judge to the singing competition next season. No official word just yet from FOX. But now that the cat is out of the bag, an announcement is expected to be made soon.
J.Lo sat on the "Idol" judging panel joining Randy Jackson and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler for two seasons. Though she's no longer a judge on the twelfth season early this year, she made an appearance as a performer on the finale.
If she's back on the judging seat, she will be joined by Keith Urban who's already been confirmed by FOX chairman Kevin Reilly at the TCA. More new judge is expected to join them as Randy, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj exit the show.
