AceShowbiz - Luke Bryan performed on "Today" show on Friday, August 16. The 37-year-old country singer treated fans at the Rockefeller Plaza in New York with songs that included "Crash My Party", "That's My Kind of Night" and "Drunk on You".
He also performed "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)", a song which was chosen by fans who joined the online voting on the show's website. During an interview, Bryan expressed his excitement to be able to perform on "Today".
"To come to New York and play the 'Today' show and see fans lined up on the streets of Manhattan, I don't know if you can... if 'surreal' describes it. I haven't slept in a week," he told host Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer.
Bryan also talked about his life after being awarded with the supreme honor of Entertainer of the Year by the Academy of Country Music. "The fact that it was fan-voted, and just the way the whole night went down, it was just a dream come true," he said before adding, "I just love the way everything has happened."
Bryan, who is currently traveling the country for his Dirt Road Diaries Tour, has just dropped a new album entitled "Crash My Party". The album, which was released on August 13, marks his fourth studio album.
