The 'We Can't Stop' singer reveals on Twitter that her upcoming fourth album will arrive in the United States on October 8.
After revealing last week, thanks to her 13 million Twitter followers, that her forthcoming new album will be named "Bangerz", Miley Cyrus takes to the popular micro-blogging service once again to announce its October 8 release date. The 20-year-old pop rock superstar was again short and snappy as when she announced the album's title, simply tweeting, "#BANGERZ #Oct8th."
The choice for "Bangerz" as the album title will be revealed as fans hear the tracks, which was exactly the process of how she arrived at the title in the first place. "I had no preconceived ideas w/ this record. The album revealed its name about 8 songs in when I realized we got nutn but #bangerz," she disclosed to a fan.
Helping Cyrus put together her much awaited new studio album are scorching-hot hit maker Pharrell Williams, Mike WiLL Made It, Planet VI, Stacy Barthe, Da Internz and Sam Hook. Her current chart-topping single "We Can't Stop" and a song featuring her fellow Disney-bred star Britney Spears are among the tracks that will appear in the said album.
Cyrus is slated to perform at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards which takes place on August 25 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center where she's expected to give a live rendition of "We Can't Stop", nominated for the Best Song of the Summer award.
