The Jean Grey of 'X-Men' claims someone unauthorized has put a book called 'The Lonely Doll' in her bedroom and police are currently investigating the incident as a burglary.

AceShowbiz - Famke Janssen has recently experienced a bizzare incident. According to a New York police source, the Dutch actress filed a police report on Saturday, August 10 after she returned to her Greenwich Village pad over the weekend and found a children's book called "The Lonely Doll", which is not hers, on a shelf beside her bed.

Cops found no signs of forced entry, but the brunette beauty said she gave no one access to her home. Making it creepier, the book tells a story about a lonely doll who prayed everyday to have some friends until she's never lonely again. In the book series, the lonely doll Edith often gets spanked by a stuffed animal named Mr. Bear.

Police are currently investigating the incident as a burglary and looking through footage from surveillance camera in an attempt to identify the intruder, if there's any. Cops are also checking if the latest case is connected to a 2005 aggravated harassment report, in which Janssen claimed a fanatic sent her letters, photos and cards. "She was afraid of him," the source says of the fanatic.
