Collins' co-stars including Jamie Campbell Bower and Kevin Zegers also hit the red carpet rolled out in front of ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome.
"The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" hit Los Angeles for its premiere held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome on Monday night, August 12. The film's stars on hand for the promotional effort include Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Kevin Zegers, Jared Harris, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Durand and more.
Collins stole the spotlight from the men with her stunning look. The 24-year-old actress wore a Cushnie Et Ochs dress which she paired with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. The daughter of singer Phil Collins managed to pose for shutterbugs and blow a kiss to her fans before entering the building.
The night got starrier with the presence of several other celebs, including Nathan Sykes of The Wanted, Julianne Hough, Diane Warren, Ashley Greene, Jessica Parker Kennedy and Bella Thorne among others.
To be released on August 21, "City of Bones" is based on Cassandra Clare's book. It introduces Lily Collins as a seemingly ordinary teenage girl, Clary Fray, who finds out truths about her past and bloodline when her mom is attacked and taken by a demon.
In a recent interview with MTV, Campbell Bower revealed that he felt a little nervous during his audition. "For me, going into that room, where [Lily] had already been cast, it's such a big deal going in for a screen test for a major movie," he admitted.
Collins, meanwhile, revealed she knew he would eventually make it. "And before he even walked in the room, in my mind, I was really set on this guy coming in and blowing it away. And I hadn't really met him before, and he came in and that was it," she said, adding, "I think I knew before I think I knew."
