Jax and his SAMCRO group members ride past a building with murals of Gemma, Tara and Clay's faces which then blows up.
A new teaser for "Sons of Anarchy" season 6 has been released online. Set to "God Is Dead?" by Black Sabbath, the promo titled "Mayhem" features Jax riding with his club past a building with murals of Gemma, Tara and Clay's faces which blows up after they drive by.
While the promo is very vague in regards to the storyline, actress Maggie Siff who plays Tara once teased that the upcoming season would be more violent. "None of us feel safe. Everybody on this show is like, Oh god," she said with a laugh.
"He [Kurt Sutter - creator]'s definitely not afraid to have terrible things happen to the people who are involved in the club. That's one of the consequences of the life, and I think he's really trying to pull the curtain back on that. I think we all feel like we're in the homestretch of this series. It's gonna be drawn-out and bloody, but we're all ready for however that plays out."
Recently at the TCA, series creator Kurt Sutter had to explain a disturbing violent scene in the season opener. "It's an organic story to our world ... thematically, it's the right thing. ... Nothing is done gratuitously," he told reporters, insisting that it "is not being done to be sensational."
He added that the event would serve as a "catalyst for the third act of this morality play that we're doing," and "it sets everything in motion for this season that will ultimately lead to the end that then will bring us into the final season and what I see as the ultimate comeuppance of everything in terms of the series."
The new installment of "SOA" premieres Tuesday, September 10 at 10 P.M. ET on FX.
