The pop icon announces premiere date of her upcoming music video and sends out a series of tweets to share info about her new album's app.
Lady GaGa has just confirmed what her make-up artist Tara Savelo teased about last week using a photo she posted on the pop superstar's official website. The Mother Monster's long-awaited new studio album "ARTPOP" has a lead single and she's going to release it on August 19, and she's giving her Little Monsters a double treat by also unveiling its music video right on the same day.
"Give me that thing that I love put your hands up make 'em touch A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E," GaGa wrote last night on Twitter, before unloading a series of tweets about her new album's app. Described by GaGa as an "interactive jewel case," the app comes out on the same day the album becomes available for pre-order on iTunes on September 1.
"The ARTPOP app is Free, available in App Stores on your device. You can purchase the music through the ARTPOP app once it's downloaded," the artist explained for her millions of followers. "Or you can purchase the album at the music store+download the free app separately at the app store," tweeted GaGa, making wise use of social media to reach her fans and as well as the latest technology to ensure that she has another top-selling album on the way.
Being one of the most followed celebrities on Twitter-verse, GaGa is using her global reach to "bring ARTculture into POP." The app brings together GaGa's interests: music, art and fashion, that allows her to reach a worldwide community of fans.
