Fifth Season of 'Glee' Might Be Pushed to November Due to Cory Monteith's Death
Prior to his sudden death, Monteith had been expected to reprise his role in the first two episodes of the series next fall.

The sudden death of Cory Monteith leaves big impact on "Glee", the show that made the Canadian actor's name rise to stardom. Sources tell NY Daily News that the 5th season premiere of the singing-dancing show, set for September 19, might be delayed until November as well as its production that has been scheduled to be kicked off next week.

A so-called FOX source says to the site that the delay is meant to "to let everyone breathe" in the wake of the tragic passing of the Finn Hudson depicter. Monteith had been expected to reprise his role and show up in the first two episodes of the series. The actor himself even had taken part in the new season promotional photos alongside other "Glee" regulars.

Monteith was found dead on Saturday, July 13, alone in a Vancouver hotel room. The cause of the heartthrob's death has recently been revealed.

"Post-mortem testing, which included an autopsy and toxicological analysis, found that Mr. Monteith, aged 31, died of a mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol," the British Columbia coroner office said. "It should be noted that at this point there is no evidence to suggest Mr. Monteith's death was anything other than a most-tragic accident."

The actor had wrapped up two movies, among which is "McCanick" that features him in his final role as a drug addict.
