The 'Safe Haven' actor picks a blue onesie on 'Live with Kelly and Michael' to let fans know that he and his wife are expecting a son.
A baby boy is on the way for Josh Duhamel and his singer wife, Stacy Ferguson, who will soon be Fergie Duhamel. The "Safe Haven" star reveals the baby's gender when dropping by "Live with Kelly and Michael" set to air Wednesday, July 16.
Duhamel, wearing a white button-down, jeans and Nike trainers, participated in "Du or Don't Part II: Baby Edition". Instead of blatantly asking if it's a boy or a girl, host Kelly Ripa held up a pink and a blue onesie for the dad-to-be to choose.
"What do you guys think - boy or girl?" 40-year-old Duhamel asked audience for their thoughts. After stalling for a few moments, the "Ramona and Beezus" actor finally picked the blue romper and held it up proudly as the crowd cheered.
The soon-to-be dad recently told ET Canada, "Everyone is saying, 'You better sleep now. You're not going to get any when the baby is here...' I feel we are ready for it and actually looking forward to that."
"I plan on taking as much time as I can off just before and as much time as possible after," he added. "I can't imagine having a kid and then not being able to be there. That would just drive me crazy."
The couple announced the baby news in February, four years after getting married.
