In addition to announcing that the new single entitled 'Baby I' will be dropped on July 22, the former 'Victorious' star shares details about her 'Listening Session' debut tour.
Ariana Grande took to Twitter on Monday morning, July 15 for two big announcements. "Morning everybody. I have two exciting announcements today. I'll be making the first one in about an hour and the second later tonight," she tweeted.
An hour later, she revealed that her next single entitled "Baby I" would be released next week. "My new single 'Baby I' from my debut album comes out in 7 days, July 22nd. #7DaysUntilBabyI," she wrote. The announcement came together with a pink-themed image that features the single's title and release date.
"Baby I" will follow up Grande's collaboration with Mac Miller, "The Way". Both songs will be included in "Daydreamin'", the Nickelodeon star's debut album that is scheduled to hit the stores later this year.
Several hours later, Grande dropped the second big news. "Excited to announce that I'm going on my 1st tour 'The Listening Sessions' this August," she tweeted. "It's called 'Listening Sessions' because we're playing only a few intimate venues & you'll get to hear the music live before the album is out."
Grande also shared a picture that bears the details of the tour. Tickets go on sale on Friday, July 19.
