Alley tweets, 'Don't believe everything you read,' after being rumored of getting angry at the 'King of Queens' star for cutting ties with the Church of Scientology.
Kirstie Alley responded to rumor suggesting that she's furious at fellow celebrity Leah Remini for leaving Scientology. "Not a word of it," so she replied when a fan asked her, "What's up with t headlines that claim you're furious w @LeahRemini ? Any truth??"
Alley, a Scientologist, sparked such rumor after she posted cryptic messages that seemed to address her row with an unnamed friend. "When faced w malicious gossip I take a moment to experience the loss of the person I thought was my friend... Then I say f**k em..:)" she wrote.
"The sweetest poison is often served with a smile...beware syrup," the actress later added, before informing her followers that she came to visit fellow Scientologist Melinda Brownstone, who reportedly happens to be Remini's former best friend.
"You're so vain..You probably think my tweets are about you ..don't you don't you don't you ? .....they're not," Alley also wrote. "Have a good one ...don't believe everything you read ...in fact don't believe anything you read..even better, just stop reading..;) xxo."
Remini left the controversial church she previously fiercely defended reportedly after being subjected to years of "interrogations" and "thought modification." Rumor suggested she was reprimanded for asking the whereabouts of leader David Miscavige's wife.
The actress was curious why Shelly Miscavige was not present at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' 2006 wedding in Italy. Shelly reportedly has never been seen publicly since 2006 except for one in August 2007 when she was allowed to attend her father's funeral.
