Frank Ocean treated fans with a brand new song when taking the stage at London's O2 Academy Brixton on Tuesday night, July 9. In the song called "Pray", the sound of guitar and other instruments could be heard while Ocean sang the melancholy song.
Before performing "Pray", Ocean gave fans a listen to some of his other new tracks. He played "Anything for You" and "Feel California", two songs that he debuted at his concert in Munich, Germany, last month.
In addition to performing the new songs, the 25-year-old entertainer played his hit songs. He led the crowd to sing to an a capella version of "Swim Good", a track off his 2011's "Nostalgia Ultra". He also performed several other songs from his latest release, 2012's "Channel Orange".
"I don't usually much talking and I don't say this everywhere but this is one of my favorite cities in the whole world," Ocean told the crowd. He finished the concert with a rendition of "Wise Man", a song he wrote for 2012 movie, "Django Unchained".
Ocean is currently in his "You're Not Dead" international tour. He recently took to his blog to explain that the tour "isn't in support of an album". He added that he funded his own tour dates. "There's no label or touring firm dollars involved. All pennies from my pocket. In support of some odd daydream," he wrote.
Earlier this year, Ocean said that he was working on his new album. He said that he had already completed "like 10, 11 songs" for the upcoming release.
