At 41, the Latina bombshell and 'Modern Family' lead star says she doesn't believe in a 'natural look.'
In the August issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine, Colombian actress Sofia Vergara reveals that it takes effort to look great but she doesn't mind all the work that goes into it. The 41-year-old "Modern Family" star says her usual bombshell ensemble of body-hugging dresses, high heels and full hair and make-up may seem high maintenance to most but to her it's "automatic."
"I'm Latin; I do it no matter what. It's automatic. I shower, do hair and makeup. For me, it's like shaving," says the comedienne. She admits, "I don't believe in a natural look. Lipstick brightens your face! Unless you're Gisele Bundchen or 19, you need something."
She further accessorizes her million-dollar looks with equally expensive Birkin bags, which, with a price tag of around $10,000 each, could be sold for college money should his son Manolo ever have trouble with it, she jokingly adds. But that scenario would still be too far off considering Vergara is currently the highest paid actress on TV today.
But apart from the $19 million a year earnings and Birkin bags, another of Vergara's "treasures" is the other man in her life, her fiance Nick Loeb, a businessman whom she met at the Golden Globes a few years ago. "He's really handsome. He's six foot four, and he has blue eyes and a lot of black hair. Or it used to be black. Now it's got a lot of white in it. Nick says all the white hair came from me," the well-loved TV personality said in jest.
