The fashion designer Ford says that he is 'completely flattered' by the rapper's tribute to him on new album 'Magna Carta... Holy Grail'.

AceShowbiz - Jay-Z has made many references to fashion designers in his new album, "Magna Carta... Holy Grail". However, Tom Ford is the most noticeable one with a whole track named after him. "I don't pop Molly, I rock Tom Ford," Jay-Z raps in the song, suggesting that the designer's clothes are his drugs.

Ford has commented on the song. The 51-year-old designer recently tells Billboard that he is thrilled to have his name featured as a title of Jay-Z's song, saying, "I am completely flattered. I mean, come on, who would not want a Jay-Z song named after them?"

Jay-Z and his family are clearly huge fans of Ford. The rapper sports a Tom Ford suit for his appearance in Justin Timberlake's "Suit and Tie" music video. His wife, Beyonce Knowles, recently shared a picture of her foot in a baby-sized Tom Ford shoe custom-designed for daughter Blue Ivy.

Jay-Z's "Magna Carta... Holy Grail" officially arrived on Tuesday, July 9. The album has been certified platinum thanks to Jay-Z's deal with Samsung. Last month, the rapper announced that he teamed up with the South Korean electronic giant to give away his latest album to one million Samsung users.
