The 'America's Got Talent' presenter opens up that his wife has dislocated her shoulder, cracked a rib and chipped her shoulder bone.
Nick Cannon addresses his singer wife Mariah Carey's injuries, after she fell on the set of her music video. Saying it was "pretty serious," he explains during a visit to "Today" show, "Not only did she dislocate her shoulder, she actually cracked a rib and ... she chipped her shoulder bone."
Recounting the accident which took place during the video shoot of her remixed song "#Beautiful", the "America's Got Talent" host says, "She was in this nice, beautiful gown, heels on and everything, and was kind of on this platform and reached and slipped and fell on her whole side."
Calling her a "trouper," he adds, "I was going to rush to the hospital with her, [but she said,] 'You get back in there and finish that video!' Then, after they put [her] shoulder back in place, bandaged her all up, she came back to the video early in the morning and finished out everything."
Mariah herself gave update on her condition by posting a picture of herself in the hospital with a sling supported her injured shoulder. "Dislocated my shoulder on the remix video with Jeezy, sporting a very fashionable sling for the next couple of weeks!" she wrote.
The original version of "#Beautiful" features Miguel and Mariah revamps it with Young Jeezy. The single will appear in her next studio installment "The Art of Letting Go", which has just been pushed back from the original July release to give her more time to put finishing touch on it.
