Channing Tatum is embracing his fatherhood. The "White House Down" actor was pictured in public for the first time with his newly-born daughter Everly. Along with wife Jenna Dewan, he arrived at LAX en route to Vancouver Sunday, July 7.
Wearing flip flops, sweat shorts, a long-sleeved shirt and an ascot cap, the hunky star was seen cradling the baby girl with care in a sling. He carefully shielded his precious cargo with a white and pink blanket as he was standing in line for the airport security check.
His wife, Dewan, meanwhile, was taking care of their furry pet, Japanese Spitz Meeka. Wearing jeans, a jacket and a fedora, the new mom who gave birth to her bundle of joy in London in late May also opted to wear flip flops like her man.
The actor, who fights terrorists to protect his daughter and the President of the United States on screen in his latest movie, once said, "Well, I've never protected the president, but I have been a new dad, and I can tell you that being a new dad is pretty terrifying. I'm pretty sure that something about the president makes the stakes a little higher, but to me as a new father, nothing is more important or scary than protecting a daughter."
