Columbia Pictures also brings 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2' to Hall H, with Anna Faris and Terry Crews set to attend the panel.
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" will swing onto the San Diego Comic-Con stage this year. Columbia Pictures has announced that Andrew Garfield, who first attended the convention as the webslinger in 2011, will return for a Friday, July 19 panel. Dane DeHaan, Jamie Foxx and director Marc Webb will come to promote the action-heavy movie, to be released on May 2, 2014, as well.
The studio will also bring the remake of "Robocop", which is directed by Jose Padilha and set for a February 7, 2014 release. According to the studio's press release, Brazilian helmer Padilha will be joined by "Easy Money" star Joel Kinnaman, who is tapped to play the title role. Samuel L. Jackson and Abbie Cornish will take part in the panel too.
Additionally, "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2" is confirmed to head to Hall H. Directors Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn will be on hand for the panel of the animated movie, which is slated to open in U.S. theaters on September 27. "Scary Movie 4" star Anna Faris, the voice of Sam Sparks, and Terry Crews, who voices Earl Devereaux, are set to be in attendance.
All three movies are now in post-production.
