Words say that Rhino and Electro will soon be joined by another male baddie to face off against Andrew Garfield's character in the Marc Webb-directed movie.
Villain rumors surrounding "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" continue to swirl. After Black Cat and Vulture are predicted to be featured in the action-heavy film with Felicity Jones and Colm Feore as the depicters respectively, it is now reported that a classic foe of the webslinger will show up to turn Spidey's world upside down.
[SPOILER ALERT!] Earlier reports have suggested that Green Goblin will make an appearance in the second installment with Chris Cooper, playing Norman Osborn, as its depicter. However, the latest buzz from Movieweb reveals that it is actually his on-screen son Dane DeHaan who will end up being featured wearing the iconic Goblin mask and costume.
The site additionally claims that the Harry Osborn depicter will be suiting up "during the climax of the film, which will take place at an Oscorp Power Planet." Even so, it is unknown whether it is true or not considering there's still no official word coming from Marc Webb.
"Amazing Spider-Man 2" is confirmed to be villainized by Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Rhino (Paul Giamatti). Due out May 2, 2014 in the U.S., the flick is no longer set to feature Mary Jane as the character will be introduced in the follow-up, "The Amazing Spider-Man 3", instead.
