The 'American Idol' champion, looking a lot slimmer, shows off some dance moves with the Destiny's Child singer.
After debuting the soulful ladies anthem "Without Me" back in April, Fantasia Barrino now unveils its music video featuring her track collaborators Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott. The sexy ballad is one of two singles released from her critically-acclaimed new album "Side Effects of You", the other being "Lose to Win".
Looking a lot slimmer and sexier now more than ever, Fantasia drops some rarely seen dance moves in the four-and-a-half minute clip, sharing the dance floor with "Dirty Laundry" artist Rowland as they execute a short choreographed routine. From her fierce facial expression to the way she flaunts her toned figure, Fantasia comes off as a no nonsense diva in the music video, which she regards as her most favorite yet.
Rowland credits directors Gomillion & Leupold for their feisty aura in the clip, saying, "The directors have captured Fantasia and myself in a video style that we've never done before. Even the grittiness of the song is reflected in the video." Rap queen Elliot, rocking a mohawk and her trademark tracksuit, chips in to give the track and the clip its retro '90s vibe.
Fantasia's "Side Effects of You" enjoyed both commercial success and favorable reviews from critics, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart while being praised for her new music's progression from her previous albums. Rowland also recently released her new album "Talk a Good Game", which includes singles "Dirty Laundry" and "Kisses Down Low".
