The behind-the-scene image gives a look at Kristen Bell, who is confirmed to reunite with Vinnie Van Lowe depicter Marino.
"Veronica Mars" movie is currently underway, and director/writer Rob Thomas lets Entertainment Weekly unveil first official photo taken from the filming location. The snap features Thomas and none-other-than leading lady Kristen Bell, who was previously spotted filming a late night scene with Jason Dohring.
In addition to the image, Thomas has recently provided a casting update. From the announcement in an email to Kickstarter backers, he reveals that Ken Marino is officially added to the ensemble, writing, "I'm...pleased to confirm that Ken Marino will be returning as Veronica and Keith's would-be competition, Vinnie Van Low."
At the same time, Thomas takes the opportunity to introduce a new cast member. "Martin Starr has joined the cast of Veronica Mars in the new role of Lou 'Cobb' Cobbler, another 09'er returning for the ten-year reunion," so he writes, mentioning Marino's co-star on "Party Down".
Marino and Starr will soon join Max Greenfield, who has been confirmed earlier to appear in the feature version of the UPN/CW series as Deputy Leo. "I'm really excited about it. It's one of those few occasions where you're going to work on something and I think I'm going there for a day, where you're working on something everybody is so excited to be there," he said.
As of now, no release date for "Veronica Mars" has been set yet.
