It might have been just a mere coincidence or perhaps intended but controversial artists Chris Brown and Justin Bieber being featured in Asher Roth's track with the title "Actin Up" could not be more fitting. Whether it's for their sheer celebrity status of their mere notoriety that they were enlisted for the rapper's new song, which also features rapstress Rye Rye, the duo provides the star power in the rap tune.
The four-minute track off mixtape "The Greenhouse Effect, Vol. 2" has Bieber rapping, "I'm on some Risky Business/ I like women and French kisses/ Mama told me do the dishes but I'm here catching fishes/ Cause I'm still young and acting up/ Girls on my mind, so I still mack up." Then, as expected, Brown goes for the more daring verse with "I just had group sex on my new jet/ So many pretty girls, I'm like who's next?"
"Actin Up" is only one of 23 tracks packed into Roth's just-released mixtape, hosted by DJ Drama and DJ Don Cannon. Apart from Bieber and Brown, Lil Wayne also does a feature on the track "Party Girl", while Tom Petty, SWV and The Beach Boys join in on "Maybe I Don't Wanna".
As for "acting up" lately, Breezy is in the thick of a legal battle involving his complaining neighbors over his home murals and he just keeps the legal woes coming with a new hit-and-run charge. Meanwhile, The Biebs recently got banned for life from an indoor skydiving facility in Las Vegas for creating a mess.
