The '#Beautiful' diva goes on a recent studio session with the Atlanta rapper and the record producer.

AceShowbiz - It has been five years already since pop/R'n'B diva Mariah Carey and hip-hop artist Young Jeezy collaborated on the track "Side Effects" and perhaps it's now time for a follow-up. That's exactly what the two have decided to do as seen in new photos posted by the Atlanta rapper on Twitter, where they were snapped inside the recording studio with record producer Mike WiLL Made It.

"Boss ya life up!!" Jeezy wrote in the caption for the snapshot of himself with the former "American Idol" judge as they were holding champagne flutes. In the other photo, the United Streets Dopeboyz of America (USDA) member was bravely flashing the dirty finger right in the center of the shot, with Mike WiLL pointing towards Carey seated on the other end of the picture.

It was not clear whether they were recording something for Carey's soon-to-be-released new album "The Art of Letting Go" or for Jeezy's follow-up to his 2012 mixtape, "Its Tha World", but it was touted by Mike WiLL as "history." The producer was clearly excited about working with Carey, as revealed in his message which read, "In the yo working with one of the worlds biggest RnB female artist. Another Banger."

Carey is right in the thick of promoting her fourteenth studio album, set to arrive on July 23. She was recently in Italy shooting a video with her "#Beautiful" collaborator Miguel and will be appearing on hit talk show "The View" on June 28 before she makes her big performance at the BET Awards on June 30.
