Kanye West Releases Official 'American Psycho' Video
Music

After a grainy first look via a projection, Yeezy drops the high quality version on the eve of his album's debut.

AceShowbiz - Following the Friday night debut of his "American Psycho"-inspired short film during a listening party in L.A., Kanye West posted the "Yeezus" promo clip in high quality on his website a day before his much-anticipated new album finally arrives June 18. Now fans can see the gory axe-hacking scene much clearly as compared to its grainy Milk Studios facade projection premiere over the weekend.

The two-minute clip features reality TV stars Scott Disick and Jonathan Cheban, more popularly associated with West's girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, as her sister's partner and her BFF respectively. Disick takes on the role of serial killer Patrick Bateman, while Cheban portrays the more passive role of his unsuspecting victim.

Recreating the scene from Mary Harron's psychological thriller based on the Bret Easton Ellis novel, Disick obsessively talks to Cheban about West's music, kicking off his appreciation by saying the rap superstar "came into his own" in "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy". When Cheban reacts nonchalantly to his discourse, Disick momentarily disappears from the scene and reemerges wearing a raincoat, apparently to protect himself from the blood spewing that will soon ensue. From behind, Disick pulls up an axe and takes a wack at Cheban as he yells, "Try getting the 'Yeezus' album now, motherf**ker!"

"Yeezus" features the eyebrow-raising singles "New Slaves", "Black Skinhead" and "I Am a God". It's West's newest baby arriving a few days after he welcomed his first child with Kim K. over the weekend in Los Angeles.
