"The Real Housewives of Miami" star Joanna Krupa is officially married to Romain Zago. A representative for the couple told Us Weekly that Joanna and Romain got married "in a million dollar princess wedding" on Thursday, June 13.
Joanna walked down the aisle wearing a $30,000 Chagoury Couture gown with a detachable 6-foot-long train, in addition to a built-in corset encrusted with Swarovski crystals in various sizes. The 34-year-old Polish-American model also wore a veil made of silk tulle detailed with crystal and rhinestone motifs.
Life & Style reported that the lavish wedding ceremony, which took place at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, California, was attended by 150 friends and family, including "Real Housewives of Miami" co-stars Lisa Hochstein, Adriana De Moura and Alexia Echevarria. Bravo will include the wedding on the third season of the show which will premiere in August.
According to a source, the couple was heavily involved in the preparation of the wedding. "Everything down to the napkins were custom made for it," the source said. A few days before their union, the TV star and her businessman beau set a competition to win an invitation to their grand wedding.
People who wanted to get a chance to attend the nuptials had to send a picture of their favorite animal. The chosen winner would not need to spend any money because plane ticket, hotel and ground transportation would be paid by the couple. The winner was Vicki Goldblatt, from Glencoe, Illinois. "Her paralyzed foster dog touched our hearts," Joanna explained.
