Many big names would make guest appearances in The Wanted's upcoming album. Max George told MTV news that the group worked with "producer Dr. Luke, Rita Ora, Nasri who does a lot of Bieber's stuff and Justin [Justin Bieber] himself" for the follow-up to the group's "Battleground".
George had high expectation of the album since fellow member Nathan Sykes had recovered from a major throat surgery. "Nath's back so yeah I think it's gonna be our best album yet and hopefully there'll be a couple of surprise collabs there as well," the 24-year-old hearthrob said.
The group also revealed that their Dr.Luke-penned track, "Walks Like Rihanna", received a positive feedback from Rihanna herself. Tom Parker said, "We met her manager, Jay Brown, in New York and he said he really liked it and she really liked it, which is always a good sign cos if she hated it we'd be in a pretty bad place."
"We'd put it out anyway!" said George before Jay McGuiness added, "I think she's avoiding us since we wrote that one!"
The Wanted's upcoming album will be the group's third studio effort. The album will feature the group's hits including "Walks Like Rihanna" and "Chasing the Sun". The album release date and title still remained unknown.
