"You guys mean everything to us and that's why we're always trying to give you guys the fan club exclusive. And for today for the 'Last Call Ball 9' we thought it would be kind of funny to give you the scoop on whether or not I'm having a boy or girl," the singer said in the video, which was taped for Nashville's "Last Call Ball 9".

The audience members wrote some names for the baby and Bentley read the suggestions onstage. Notable names that were proposed at the event were Dierks-Anne for a girl and Deacon Cash for a boy, among others. The fans also guessed the sex of the baby that is due later in fall. Bentley told the crowd with a smile later, "We're having a boy! Just don't tell anybody, alright?"
