In a video offering behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming installment, Greg Nicotero who directs the season premiere gushes that the opener is 'bigger than any script I've ever done before.'
AMC has offered a first look at "The Walking Dead" season 4 in a featurette. Taking fans behind the scenes of the filming of the season premiere, the video includes interviews with the show's crew.
Emmy-winning VFX mastermind Greg Nicotero steps up as a director for the first episode and he gushes, "I think season four is going to be the best season yet." Nicotero describes the first episode as "bigger than any script I've ever done before," before teasing, "We have some new people coming in... There's some great character turns... There's a lot of really great twists that will really delight the fans."
The FX hit horror series is expected to return this October with Scott Gimple as the new showrunner, replacing Glen Mazzara. David Morrissey will return as Rick's nemesis the Governor in the upcoming season. Gimple writes the season opener.
