The 'Mistresses' actress is 'so excited' about doing the Lifetime fashion-design competition show.

AceShowbiz - Alyssa Milano has another gig lined up next on her schedule after her new show "Mistresses" debuts on ABC Monday night, May 3. The former "Charmed" actress is set to host the third season of Lifetime's "Project Runway All Stars".

The 40-year-old mother of one confirmed the news during an appearance on "Live! with Kelly and Michael". She gushed, "I'm so excited about doing the show."

Milano follows in the footsteps of Angela Lindvall and Carolyn Murphy who hosted the first and second season respectively. She will join Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman who return as judges in the upcoming installment.

The contestants of the third cycle are yet to be announced. The production, meanwhile, is slated to start later this month in New York for a fall premiere.

Milano is best known for her work on TV series such as "Who's the Boss?", "Melrose Place" and "My Name Is Earl". The fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers has her own clothing and jewelry line, Touch by Alyssa Milano, for female fans of sports.
