The 'Northern Lights' stars and real-life couple are going to work together again on the new show to give people a look at how their lives really are.

AceShowbiz - LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are going to respond to haters' comments about their lives with a TV show. The married couple, who met on the set of Lifetime's movie "Northern Lights" in 2008, is currently developing a project which is based on their reality, but is scripted.

"We're doing a TV show based on our reality," the 30-year-old actress/singer tells PEOPLE. "We'll take things out of our lives and elaborate them and make them funny. People have been laughing at us - we want them to laugh with us!"

She further explains the reason why they are planning this show, "For some reason, everyone is so interested in our lives but they don't actually know about them. What they read is what they see. We want to be able to take control of our lives again so we want to do a show about us, about our lives, but scripted."

Rimes also hopes to be working with her husband again, admitting, "That's why we explored the idea of doing the show, to be able to be together." The planned TV show still has no title or network as its home.

While she's keen on starring on a TV show with Cibrian again, the "I Need You" songstress rules out the possibility of her co-starring Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills". "That would never cross my mind. Never in a million years!" she responds to the rumors.

Rimes and Cibrian got married on April 22, 2011 after having an affair while he was still married to Glanville in 2009. The country/pop singer recently admitted, "I was feeling all these crazy emotions and feeling terrible about myself and was disgusted by myself and thought I was pathetic" for having an affair with a married man.
