Jaden Smith channeled his inner superhero during an outing with his friend Kylie Jenner. The 14-year-old actor indulged in his childish side with an Iron Man costume, while she looked more mature than her 15-year-old self in a mini leopard print dress, heeled boots and full makeup on.
The son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith reportedly bought the costume during the outing and tried it out right away. During the shopping trip, the young actor and the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star also dropped by Nobu to grab a bite with a couple of friends.
Jaden once said of how they became friends, "I was in LA, we were all hanging out. Then I went to New York and she came too, then she came here and surprised me, so that's pretty baller." "The Karate Kid" actor added, "She's one of my best friends. It's pretty awesome."
Jaden's sister Willow Smith is also a friend of Kylie's. She, along with Stephen Baldwin's daughter Hailey, was recently spotted enjoying some girl time with the model. They picked up some pizza at a cheap and cheerful eatery in New York's West Village.
Although his children are hanging out with the Kardashians, Will Smith shot down comparison between the two families. "For our family, the entire structure of our life... the entire purpose is for everyone to be able to create in a way that makes them happy," he said. "Fame is almost an inconsequential by-product of what we're really trying to accomplish."
"We are trying to put great things into the world, we're trying to have fun, and we're trying to become the greatest versions of ourselves in the process of doing things we love," he added. "So the idea of fame or exploitation or orchestrating the media is sometimes even less than desirable for us."
