Cops arrive in the former 'Hannah Montana' star's Los Angeles house following a bogus 911 call that says someone fires shots inside the house.
Miley Cyrus became a victim of swatting on Friday, May 17. TMZ reported that cops were seen at the 20-year-old
singer's Los Angeles house after receiving a 911 call from a female who claimed shots were
fired in her house.
Cops quickly determined that the call was fake as they found nothing in the house. The "Can't Be Tamed" singer wasn't even home when the incident happened.
This is not the first time cops were called to Cyrus' resident for nothing but a waste of time and energy. Last August, cops responded to a 911 call that reported Cyrus' home was invaded. When they arrived with guns drawn, there were no signs of crime at the house.
Cyrus is not the only celebrity who got swatted multiple times. TMZ said Paris Hilton's L.A. mansion was swatted again for the second time last weekend. Cops said a lady pretended to be Hilton when calling 911. She said she was trapped in her bedroom with a gun pointed to her head. When cops came, Hilton wasn't home.
Back in late March, Hilton fell victim to a similar prank. At that time, someone dialed 911 and said someone was attacked inside Hilton's house.
