AceShowbiz - As if he is not busy enough with his live performances and forthcoming sixth studio album, G.O.O.D Music label mogul Kanye West has managed to record a single for the soundtrack of Sofia Coppola's new film "The Bling Ring". He will be featured along with another top artist, Grammy Award-winning R'n'B artist Frank Ocean and a host of other top acts like M.I.A., Phoenix and Sleigh Bells.
West and Ocean already have existing songs that will be featured in the official soundtrack, alongside the contributions of Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross, Azealia Banks, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, deadmau5 and many other hip-hop acts. From the choices of artists collaborating on tracks for the compilation, the OST is looking to be predominantly hip-hop-oriented but will also feature indie and electropop tunes.
West has two songs among the seventeen-tracks listed, "Power" and "All of the Lights" while Ocean's duet with Earl Sweatshirt "Super Rich Kids" makes it to the collection. Ross and Wayne's joint track "9 Piece" is listed along with Phoenix's "Bankrupt!" while 2 Chainz drops "Money Machine".
"The Bling Ring" stars actress Emma Watson, Taissa Farmiga, Leslie Mann and Israel Broussard. The story is based on a Vanity Fair article about a group of teens who immersed themselves in celebrity culture prior to stealing thousands of pounds worth of jewelry.
