An extended promo for 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' brings Agent Coulson back to life, while the 'Once Upon a Time in Wonderland' trailer gives a look at the fairytale land and its characters.
ABC has introduced its new shows through videos after unveiling its 2013 fall schedule. Among those creating the buzz is "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." which, although it was previewed in several videos before, gives an extended look in the new trailer.
The "S.H.I.E.L.D." snippet reveals that the story takes place after the events in New York in "The Avengers". Clark Gregg's Agent Phil Coulson, somehow, is still alive and assembles a small, highly select group of Agents to investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe.
A spin-off to "Once Upon a Time", "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" puts a twist on the famous "Alice in Wonderland" tale. In the promo, Alice is deemed insane for believing there's a Wonderland. Unwittingly undergoing a procedure to bring back her insanity, she finds herself traveling back to the Wonderland and uses this opportunity to find her loved one.
"Resurrection" trailer shares a dramatic and emotional story of the shocking finding of a boy, who was thought to be dead 30 years ago. Those closest to the family try to unravel this impossible mystery, but this boy knows secrets about his own death that no one else knows.
In the comedy department, there are "Super Fun Night" and "Trophy Wife" among others. Starring "Pitch Perfect" actress Rebel Wilson, the former boasts hilarious scenes as it follows three single girls on what's supposed to be their "Fun Night". Malin Akerman leads the latter show, portraying the third wife of a man. The way she behaves and attempts to win her husband's kids will surely draw laughters.
Also slated to come this fall is a "Toy Story" special. Titled "Toy Story of Terror", the 30-minute special will air in October just in time for Halloween and has been previewed in a photo. "Bonnie is on a road trip to go see grandma with her mom and the toys are in the trunk," producer Galyn Susman dishes on the storyline. "Mom gets a flat tire and they have to spend the night at a motel and all kinds of chaos ensues."
Promos of other new shows, including "The Goldbergs", "Lucky 7", "Back in the Game", "Betrayal", "Killer Women" and more, are available on ABC's YouTube account.
