Khloe Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom became the latest victims of celebrity swatting prank. TMZ reported that cops rushed to the couple's Los Angeles house on Thursday, May 10 after authorities received a 911 call from someone who claimed Lamar was arguing with his friend and the professional basketball player was shot inside the house.
When cops arrived at the house with guns drawn, they found the 33-year-old L.A. Lakers forward at home alone and unharmed. An eyewitness at the scene said that the police made a full response to the prank call. Police believed the group behind the incident was the same group who had targeted celebrities like Rihanna, Chris Brown, Magic Johnson, P. Diddy and Clint Eastwood.
Khloe wasn't the first Kardashian who became the victim of the prank. Back in January, cops showed up at mother Kris Jenner's house. Khloe's sister, Kim Kardashian, reacted to the incident, tweeting, "These prank calls are NOT funny! People can get arrested for this! I hope they find out who is behind this. Its dangerous & not a joke!"
Khloe and Kim's half sister, Kendall Jenner, wasn't amused by the prank call either. She tweeted cynically, "I love it when 8 police officers show up at my door and 10 cop cars are outside my house. just another casual Friday evening at the Jenner household. #nbd #EveryonesOk." She later added, "kids are really stupid. You know you can get arrested for something like this? #pointless lol."
