Tyler Blackburn Leaves 'Pretty Little Liars' to Star on Its Spin-Off

The Caleb Rivers depicter has been cast on 'Ravenswood' and will be seen traveling to the new town in the upcoming Halloween episode.

AceShowbiz - Tyler Blackburn will relocate from Rosewood to Ravenswood. ABC Family has officially announced that the actor portraying Caleb Rivers on "Pretty Little Liars" will star on the show's spin-off, which will premiere in October.

"I am so stoked to head to #Ravenswood @RavenswoodABCF - I promise you won't be disappointed!" Blackburn tweeted on Tuesday, April 30. He becomes the first actor to be cast on the new show. ABC Family teased the casting the day before, posting on "Ravenswood" Facebook page, "Who is leaving Rose wood and headed for Ravenswood?"

Blackburn's character will travel to Ravenswood during the annual "Pretty Little Liars" special Halloween episode. Before that, Caleb will still be seen in the upcoming fourth season of "Pretty Little Liars" which will premiere this summer, on June 11 to be exact.

It's still unknown how Caleb enters "Ravenswood" and how this affects his relationship with Hanna.

Coming from the creator of "Pretty Little Liars" TV series I. Marlene King, "Ravenswood" will center on a town, not far from the home base of "Pretty Little Liars", which has suffered under a deadly curse for generations.
