Ian Ziering becomes a dad again after wife Erin Ludwig gave birth to another baby girl on Thursday, April 25, a date which happened to be the couple's first child, Mia Loren's second birthday. "We didn't plan it!" Ian told PEOPLE. "Mia was born a week late and Penna was a week early."

Penna arrived at 9:21 A.M. at a Los Angeles hospital and she weighed in at 6 lbs. 9 oz. Ian said that Mia met her new little sister last night. "She couldn't wait to meet her. When she saw Penna she said, 'Baby sister!' " he said and added with a laugh, "She had all her toys lined up and ready to show Penna."

Ian told the magazine that he and his wife were happy with the new addition to the family. "We are ecstatic," the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" heartthrob gushed. "Having a family is the realization of a dream for us both."

As for the baby's name, the "Dancing with the Stars" alum explained that the name Penna was picked to honor his late father, Paul, while Mae is a middle name shared by Erin's mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Last week, Ian took to Twitter to show how happy he was to become a father again. He posted a photo of him, daughter Mia and his wife's baby bump along with a caption which read, "We are so excited to have another baby!"
