The rapper/actor will star on a new reality show set inside an Amish community which will debut this year.

AceShowbiz - "Ice Ice Baby" singer Vanilla Ice has landed another reality series "Vanilla Ice Goes Amish". The 45-year-old artist will immerse himself in an Amish community in Ohio where he will learn how they do construction, barn work and many more.

"This show is going to be amazing, pure magical. Get in where you fit in, and I'm sitting in with the Amish. LOL," tweeted Vanilla Ice. On the same DIY network where he will debut his new show, the '90s rapper already stars on "The Vanilla Ice Project", a home renovation series, currently airing its third season, with a fourth season airing this fall.

Before hooking up with the DIY network, Vanilla Ice had already appeared in other reality TV competition shows such as "Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge", "Dancing on Ice", "Celebrity Boxing", and "The Surreal Life: Fame Games". Before dabbling in TV, he continued to record music and also tried his hand in real estate.

But way before he kick started his acting career, Vanilla Ice first shot to fame in the early 1990s with his monster hit "Ice Ice Baby". However, he somehow became a "one-hit wonder" when his second album "Mind Blowin", released in 1994, opened to critics' unfavorable reviews and lukewarm response from the general public.
