Foxx rocks blue makeup to portray the supervillain as he's spotted filming the 'Amazing Spider-Man' sequel in Times Square.
How Jamie Foxx will look as Electro in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" has been teased in set photos. Taken during the filming in Times Square on Monday, April 15, one of the images gives a clear look at the actor's face, which was covered in blue makeup.
The "Django Unchained" actor also wore contact lens to make his creepy appearance more convincing. His outfit, however, was as normal as can be, consiting of black hooded jacket and jeans.
In "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", Peter Parker is busy taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen, while high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away - but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro, emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn, returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone return as Peter and Gwen respectively. Added to the cast lineup are Dane DeHaan as Harry, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, and Paul Giamatti as Rhino besides Foxx. The sequel to "The Amazing Spider-Man" is still directed by Marc Webb and is slated to hit U.S. theaters on May 2, 2014.
