AceShowbiz - A picture of Justin Bieber taken during his visit to Anne Frank Museum has surfaced. The 19-year-old pop star was photographed playing shadowboxing with a friend. He wore an all-black outfit and a cap. His opponent wore similar clothing to the singer.

Anne Frank Center has released a statement, saying, "We'd like to thank Justin for his continued display and reinforcement of positive, peaceful attitudes, and ask him and all others to help preserve the life, ideals and legacy of Anne Frank by spreading her universal message of tolerance and social justice for all."

In addition, the Center hoped that the "Baby" singer would "put his creative force and positive attitude and spirit behind the Anne Frank Sapling Project." The project aimed to plant 9 saplings, but they only planted two so far. According to E! News, the saplings were taken from from the horse chestnut tree that brought comfort to Frank when she and her family hid from Nazi in a house for two years.

"The remaining nine saplings are scheduled for planting in her name, voice and spirit across the U.S. over the coming year. That the major media overlooked these initial plantings and instead focused on his harmless, innocent comments perhaps indicate that many bloggers, editorialists, individuals and organizations have forgotten that tolerance for all lies at the very heart of Anne's message," said the Center in the statement.

Previously, social media users criticized Bieber after the pop star wrote on Anne Frank Museum guest book that the young Holocaust victim would have been a devoted fan of him. However, so far, there is no word from Bieber or his agency in regards to his controversial message. Instead, the singer posted shirtless photos on Instagram on Monday.
