AceShowbiz - The first teaser of "300: Rise of an Empire" comes in a form of two stills. One of them gives a first look at Sullivan Stapleton as Athenian admiral Themistokles. The other photo shows two groups of warriors facing off one another with shields, spears and swords in their hands.

Co-produced by Zack Snyder, the director of the first "300", this follow-up movie is set at the same time of its predecessor and "tied visually to the original" with the theme of "the few against the many" still intact. Director Noam Murro spilled, "There is a whole different choreography of fighting and war."

"While that battle was happening, the one that you saw in 300, there was another battle happening next to it and you will have a chance to see all of that happening and how they interact," added Rodrigo Santoro who would reprise his role as King Xerxes in the next installment.

The Greeks are clashing with the Persian troop led by a vengeful commander played by Eva Green. Xerxes' second-in-command, she marches her army to seek revenge for her family's death. "She's got sex appeal, she's ruthless and conniving. All the things that kill men," Murro said.
