Douglas' Liberace hires Damon's Scott Thorson as his personal friend and companion, and introduces him to his plastic surgeon, played by Rob Lowe.

AceShowbiz - HBO has finally released the first full trailer for "Behind the Candelabra". The new sneak peek offers a look at the first encouter of Liberace and Scott Thorson, who are introduced to each other by Hollywood film producer Ray Arnett, their intimate relationship and their fight.

Not reluctant to spend his money for his younger lover, Liberace gets Thorson under the knife to restructure Thorson's face to resemble a young Liberace. The preview video gives a look at Rob Lowe as Liberace's plastic surgeon.

Michael Douglas and Matt Damon star as Liberace and Thorson respectively in this HBO biopic, which is directed by Steven Soderbergh. Based on Thorson's 1988 memoir "Behind the Candelabra: My Life With Liberace", the upcoming TV movie follows the flamboyant pianist-vocalist who embarked on a secretive five-year love affair with Thorson despite their age difference and seemingly different worlds.

Dan Aykroyd, Scott Bakula, Debbie Reynolds and Tom Papa join the cast of the drama pic, which is set to premiere May 26 at 9 P.M. on HBO.
