AceShowbiz - Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are expecting a baby. The "Frankie and Alice" actress confirms her pregnancy via her representative, "We can confirm that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are expecting a child. We will not be commenting on or confirming any additional details."
TMZ reports that Berry is 3-month pregnant and the couple is having a son. A source tells E! News, "Halle and Olivier are really excited. It's a blessing. They can't wait to have a baby together." Another source tells Us Weekly that the 46-year-old actress is "elated." Berry is already a parent to a daughter, Nahla, from her previous relationship with Gabriel Aubry.
On "The Wendy Williams Show" last November, Berry shared a story of her daughter who wanted to have a sister. Berry said, "My daughter is asking me. Every night we pray to God, and she's so sweet. She says 'God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.' And I say, 'I can do one of those things, I know for sure! The other one we have to keep praying on.' What do you say to her when she wants that and can't understand why God's taking so long, you know?"
On the same show, Berry revealed that she was glad that she did not have a baby at early age. "I'm a much better mother at 46, or 41 when I had her, than if I were 21 or 25. I was just a little baby, just trying to figure it out, trying to figure out who I was, let alone have the responsibility of trying to help another little soul develop and grow. I'm so glad I waited," Berry said.
Berry and Martinez met on the set of a movie "Dark Tide". They started dating in 2010. The couple confirmed their engagement in March 2012.
