The punk-pop band shares the first four tracks from their upcoming LP ahead of its April 8 scheduled release date.
It's still a few more days before the April 8 release of their self-titled fourth studio album, but the trio of Paramore has decided to post online the first side of their new LP. Apparently, they plan to share all four sides of their double-vinyl LP over the course of the week. Side A of the album boasts four new tracks "Fast in My Car", "Grow Up", "Daydreaming" and the January-released single, "Now".
The band composed of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis and guitarist Taylor York even shot and posted a YouTube video of themselves introducing the four new songs. "Oh so you made it here? Thanks for coming to hang out with us. You wanna hear Side A of our album?" said Williams.
Williams and her two guitar men will next post Side B on Tuesday night on their own site Paramore.net, followed by Side C Wednesday, April 3 and finally Side D on Thursday, April 4. Right the next day after they have revealed the whole record, the group will perform in an intimate U.K. show on April 5 at London's Garage as a supporting gig for their new release.
Paramore also unveiled the complete tracklisting of their new album, revealing 17 new singles, as well as some pretty interesting trivia that they actually recorded "Paramore" in music icon Prince's exclusive room at Sunset Sound recording studios in Los Angeles. Williams disclosed, "We were actually in Prince's room that he built... he lived there for, I heard, like, two years or something. We were just in his room, just chillin'."
