The first trailer of "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" has leaked online. The preview sees Logan Lerman's Percy Jackson in a dangerous yet thrilling adventure with his friends Alexandra Daddario's Annabeth and Brandon T. Jackson's Grover.
Percy, the demi-god son of Poseidon, teams up with Annabeth, whose strengths are her wit and warrior skills from her god-mother Athena, and his protector Grover to retrieve the Golden Fleece. If they succeed to get it back, they will save not only their home but also their camp, Camp Half-Blood.
The video highlights two newcomers, Clarisse La Rue, the demi-god daughter of Ares, and Tyson, Percy's cyclops half-brother. Fans can also get glimpses of Stanley Tucci as Dionysus, the god of wine and the director of Camp Half-Blood, and Nathan Fillion as Hermes.
Based on Rick Riordan's novel of the same name, "Sea of Monsters" is directed by Thor Freudenthal and penned by Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski, and Marc Guggenheim. Serving as the producers are Chris Columbus, Michael Barnathan, and Karen Rosenfelt.
