The teaser of the new ABC Family Channel movie promotes fun scenes that will take viewers to sing and dance along with Drew Seeley and Chelsea Kane.
ABC Family has released a teaser of its upcoming movie "Lovestruck: The Musical". Delivered in 30 seconds, the video promises fun and enjoyable scenes that will invite viewers to sing and dance along with Drew Seeley and Chelsea Kane, who is previously known as Chelsea Staub.
"Lovestruck" tells the story of dance coreographer Harper who experiences the reverse-aging after drinking from a strange bottle. Turned 30 years younger, the young Harper (Kane) secretly infiltrates the wedding of her daughter Mirabella and Marco to stop Mirabella from giving up her dance career too soon.
Apparently, her ex-husband Ryan can immediately recognize his ex-wife. After experiencing the reverse-aging effects of the elixir too, the young Ryan (Seeley) teams with Harper to reverse the damage she's done to Mirabella and Marco's relationship, hopefully in time to save the wedding.
Directed by Sanaa Hamri with Jaylynn Bailey and Terry Rossio penning the script, "Lovestruck" also stars Jane Seymour as elder Harper, Sara Paxton as Mirabella, Alexander DiPersia as Marco, and Tom Wopat as elder Ryan. Michael Rooney serves as the coreographer of the TV movie, which is executive produced by Debra Martin Chase and Rossio.
A digital soundtrack will be available featuring the cast singing original songs and covering hits, including Lady GaGa's "Just Dance", Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody", and Usher's "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love". The soundtrack will be available on iTunes in advance of the movie's premiere, which is set on Sunday, April 21.
