Gearing up for the upcoming return of "Game of Thrones", the stars of the hit HBO series attended a season 3 premiere party for the show at the TCL Chinese Theater in L.A. on Monday, March 18. Ditching her character's blonde locks, Emilia Clarke was smoking hot in a blue, floor-length dress by Victoria Beckham paired with Christian Louboutin pumps.
The Daenerys Targaryen depicter let her brunette hair loose and kept it simple, choosing a diamond bracelet by Jacob & Co. as her accessory. She was all smiles while posing next to her on-screen husband Jason Momoa, who suited up for the occasion.
Other "Game of Thrones" beauties namely Sophie Turner, Natalie Dorner, Michelle Fairley, Esme Bianco, Pose Leslei and Sibel Kekilli graced the red carpet as well. Male stars Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, Alfie Allen, Richard Madden and Liam Cunningham were also present, joined by young cast members Maisie Williams and Isaac Hempstead-Wright.
Making the event more star-studded, "Glee" stars Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale were spotted among the celebrity guests in addition to "Castle" lead actress Stana Katic. George R. R. Martin, the author of "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series which the show is based on, also supported the event.
In another effort to hype up "Thrones" season 3 premiere, HBO has debuted two clips from the first episode. One of them sees Cersei and Tyrion Lannister having a verbal spar, while the other features Dany watching as her dragons feed.
The highly-anticipated new season of the medieval series will start airing Sunday, March 31 at 9/8c on HBO. The first episode will see Jon brought before Mance Rayder, and the Night's Watch survivors retreating south. In King's Landing, Tyrion asks for his reward, Littlefinger offers Sansa a way out, and Cersei hosts a dinner for the royal family. Arya runs into the Brotherhood Without Banners, and Dany sails into Slaver's Bay.
