'90210' Is Canceled After Five Seasons

The season fifth finale, which will air May 13 and feature Prince Jackson, will be the last episode for the CW teen drama series.

"90210" is coming to its end. The CW has confirmed that it cancels the teen drama series after five seasons. The fifth season finale, which now will be the last episode for the show, will air Monday, May 13 featuring a guest appearance by Michael Jackson's eldest son, Prince Jackson.

"The CW has had five great seasons with America's favorite zip code, 90210," says The CW president Mark Pedowitz. "I'd like to thank the talented cast, producers, and crew for all their hard work and dedication to the series. We are very proud of the West Beverly High alumni."

Debuted in September 2008 as a modern update to "Beverly Hills, 90210", the Shenae Grimes-starring series hit a series low with a 0.2 rating among adults 18-49 and 550,000 viewers for the February 18 episode. Season to date, it averages a 0.4 rating in the demo and 928,000 viewers.

The CW has yet to make a decision on "Nikita", "The Carrie Diaries", "Hart of Dixie" and "Beauty and the Beast". Meanwhile, the network's hit series "Supernatural", "The Vampire Diaries" and "Arrow" have been given early renewals.
