Underwood is elegant with her mermaid-styled gown, Adele looks refreshing in a red floral frock, and Swift is one sexy kitten in a cream-colored dress with plunging neckline.
Carrie Underwood, Adele and Taylor Swift were among those who came early on the red carpet of the 55th annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Sunday evening, February 10. They were joined by the likes of Miranda Lambert, Chris Brown, Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin Timberlake and Kelly Osbourne.
Underwood was a vision as she looked gorgeous in a black, strapless Roberto Cavalli gown with lace and embroidered bodice and a curve-hugging mermaid silhouette skirt. The "American Idol" alum completed her elegant look with 381-carat diamond necklace, red nail polish, loose wavy hair, smokey eyes and nude lip.
Adele was red hot. The British singing sensation who just became a new mom broke out from her usual black outfit for a refreshing color that fitted her well. She rocked a floral Valentino Spring 2013 Couture frock with a knee-length full voluminous skirt that she paired with matching pumps. She wore her hair in a sweeping do and wore glossy lip.
Swift, meanwhile, chose a cream-colored dress to wear that evening. The country/pop singer opted for a sexy backless J. Mendel gown with deep neckline and silver sequined criss-crossing straps. In a pre-telecast, she won a Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media Award, thanks to The Civil Wars-assisted "Safe & Sound" from "The Hunger Games".
Lambert opted for a Roberto Cavalli design with plunging neckline. Breezy donned white from head to toe, save it for his belt. Jepsen coming with boyfriend Matthew Koma also rocked a Roberto Cavalli dress that she matched with Jerome C. Rousseau shoes and H. Stern jewelry. Timberlake suited up in a Tom Ford tux with a bowtie. Osbourne was stunning in a black cutout dress.
Nicole Kidman arrived hand-in-hand with her country star hubby Keith Urban. She donned a gold Vera Wang dress, L'Wren Scott shoes, Fred Leighton jewels, and a Roger Vivier clutch. Natasha Bedingfield ans Skylar Grey both looked daring in red. The former showed off some skin in her plunging frock and the latter did the same in her halter neck gown.
Another Hollywood beauty who turned heads was Beyonce Knowles. Opting for a monochrome appearance, she went with Osman black crepe jumpsuit with white panel detailing, a Swarovski clutch, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. In the pre-show, she grabbed Best Traditional R&B Performance for her song "Love on Top".
